Booking Terms and Conditions

Terms

The booking is confirmed on receipt of a 50% non returnable deposit and signed terms and conditions; the balance is payable four (4) weeks before the wedding date.

Formation of Contract

A booking will not constitute a legal contract until it has been confirmed in writing by both The Guest and the operating company of Nibley House (‘Nibley House’) and until any deposit or payment in advance requested by Nibley House has been paid and a receipt for the same issued to The Guest and until a copy of these Terms and Conditions has been signed by The Guest and returned to Nibley House. Any booking which has not been so confirmed by The Guest within a period of 14 days from the date on which the original booking was made may be cancelled by Nibley House. Every attempt will be made to contact The Guest prior to effecting such a cancellation, but notice by letter to The Guest’s last known postal address shall be considered adequate.

NIBLEY HOUSE MAY CANCEL AT ANY STAGE ANY FUNCTION OF WHATEVER NATURE, IF IT BELIEVES THAT TO ALLOW THE FUNCTION TO PROCEED WOULD CONTRAVENE THE LAW, IN SUCH CASE ANY CONTRACT SHALL BE NULL AND VOID AND NIBLEY HOUSE’S LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE RETURN OF ANY DEPOSIT(S) PAID.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise requiring the need to cancel your wedding with us. However, if it is necessary to cancel your wedding within 4 weeks of the event a cancellation fee of 100% of the estimated total bill will apply. We strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover against any unforeseen circumstances.

What’s included

Exclusive use of Nibley House from 10.00am until 1.00am (parties must finish at 12 midnight). Setting up the day before can be arranged
White linen table cloths and napkins
Use of private garden and outside areas for photographs
Use of tables and chairs for the reception
Use of dance floor for the evening
Use of music system for ceremony and wedding breakfast (ipod connection)
Ample free car parking for your guests
Bridal suite for the night of your Wedding Day
Function manager on the day to ensure that your Wedding runs smoothly
Freshly brewed coffee or tea after the speeches

Chair Cover Hire

White pleated cotton with Gold organza sash – £2.50 each – other sash colours can be obtained on request.

Restrictions on Use
