Your camping and caravanning experience Caravanning in Cotswolds

The Cotswold Way is all about the fantastic views, and Nibley House has some of the best even before you've left the grounds. The caravan site sits on the edge of the large apple orchard, looking west over the Severn Plain and bridges, and across to the distant Black Mountains of Wales.

On a summer evening you will be relaxing in the quiet of twilight with your glass of wine, watching the blazing sunset in the biggest sky you've ever seen, while the sheep and the horses wander around below. In April and May, too, you'll be sitting under the apple blossom.

Other times of year have seen the most extraordinary display of low mist (see the pictures, left); and even in heavy rain you have views to enjoy.

Caravanning

Nibley House has a registered "CL" site, charging £5.00 per van per night and we do welcome rallies if notified in advance.

There is no electricity on this site, a maximum of 5 caravans can stay there at one time.

Shower facilities are available near the main house, and breakfast may be available with advance warning, for an added charge.

Camping

Camping, for backpackers only, is £5.00 per night. Campers may pitch their tent in any part of the gardens: there are plenty of secluded places to relax.
